RECREATION ~85% ESTIMATED
Playable · validation continues
Stage, Tour and time-trial modes, original-art menus/HUD, 90 skinned riders, audio and local multiplayer are implemented.
In place
- All 21 stages, 23 kits and leader jerseys.
- Two-view split-screen and shared 2–4-player local play.
- Five reference race replays recorded with zero simulation differences.
Still to do
- Exact fonts and remaining camera/physiology details.
- Validate remaining Tour-standing assumptions and time-trial braking.
- Broader gameplay, platform and presentation acceptance.
About this estimate
Broad playable scope and strong targeted checks, with remaining fidelity and gameplay validation. Reference replay parity is not universal original-game parity.
PLUS NOT YET ESTIMATED
Scope pending
A separate Plus workstream is not established in the reviewed notes.
In place
No separate implementation documented.
Still to do
- Define this edition’s improvements and acceptance criteria.
About this estimate
No defensible percentage yet; shared foundations do not establish a separate finished edition.
PLUSPLUS ~70% ESTIMATED
Playable · 21 stages imported
The shared race engine, menus and art HUD run in Unreal 5.8. Nanite trees and shrubs, new ground materials and Lumen lighting replace key parts of the original presentation.
In place
- All 21 stage maps imported; 90 animated riders.
- Shared menus, HUD, results and stage-transition framework.
- Nanite vegetation, upgraded terrain, weather and modern lighting.
Still to do
- Full Tour/stage playthroughs and stability investigation.
- Propagate recent terrain fixes across the stage set.
- Validate audio/multiplayer parity and finish visual polish.
About this estimate
Real race/UI integration and complete imported stage set, but stage imports are not complete gameplay certification. A recorded unresolved crash also limits stability claims.
